Come to Raids
Full raiders are expected to sign up and attend at least one or two raids per week.  the more reliable you are, the more likely that you will continue to get raid invites.

Stay in Raids
We raid in three or four hour sessions, and signing up or accepting a raid invite commits you to that session.  If you will not be able to attend for the entire time, it is your responsibility to let the raid leader know when you will need to leave so that he can plan a replacement, or not take you.  Leaving early forfeits the "ironman" dkp bonus and affects our future decisions on who gets raid invites.

Emergencies happen and we understand this.  Communication is crucial however.  "I gotta go." in the middle of the raid is not excusable.  "Taking son to emergency room" is.  Please understand that when you leave early, you need to be replaced and this takes time.  If it slows us down 15 minutes, you just wasted six HOURS of other people's time (because there are 24 other raiders).  this is why we put such an emphasis on staying the full length.  Incidentally, if you have an emergency every time we're doing content you have no upgrades from, we tend to notice that.

AFK
Afking is unavoidable, but it slows us down.  Being prepared for a raid means that you have something drink or eat if needed, went to the bathroom etc. and are ready to raid for some time.  if you're afking in the first two hours of the raid, you're doing something wrong.  If you have a pre-existing condition or know you'll need an afk at a certain time, communicate this with the raid leader.  We're going to have to wait for you anyway so better have everyone break at the same time if possible.  Again, communication is key.

Ninja AFK
Is pretty much inexcusable and grounds for immediate removal from the raid.  Everyone hops up for a few seconds, but leaving for minutes at a time without letting us know is a good way piss off 24 people and not get invited to raids anymore.

Tabbed Out
If you're tabbed during a break, just let someone know so we can yell at you in vent when the ready check comes up.  See how simple this communication thing makes everything?  Amazing.

Playing but not Raiding
I'm not going to require you to be available to raid if you're logged on - we're not that kind of guild.  However, consider what it looks like when we need that one person to get the raid off the ground, you are the spec we need, but are busy pvping, roleplaying, doing dailies etc.  First the raid leader gets whisper bombed "OMG GET X PERSON" and it's annoying.  Second, we are a raiding guild and helping out, while not required, is rather expected.  People in the past have needed to take a break for a bit, or knew that they wouldn't be able to devote full attention to the raid etc, and that's ok so long as you've made this clear to us.
